The Outreach Team communicates the science of reactive nitrogen through education, creative media, and engagement on Grounds. By connecting research with the UVA community, we help translate sustainability research into meaningful action.

What We Do

The Outreach Team creates educational materials and community initiatives that help students, faculty, and staff better understand reactive nitrogen and how everyday choices influence sustainability.

Community Events & Engagement Engage students and community members through tabling, educational events, and conversations that connect nitrogen research with everyday sustainability.

Educational Resources & Campaigns Create posters, presentations, handouts, and other educational materials that make nitrogen research accessible and encourage sustainable choices across Grounds.
