The Mapping Indigenous Worlds Lab is now accepting proposals for the following grants:
- Curriculum Development: All lab members are welcome to submit proposals to develop new lab-affiliated curriculum or integrate the central themes of the Mapping Indigenous Worlds Lab (please see the Lab Proposal for details) into existing courses. Successful proposals will be awarded curriculum development support in the amount of $3,500. - Research: The Mapping Indigenous World Lab welcomes proposals for research projects that will advance the lab's central themes (please see the Lab Proposal for details). Successful proposals will be awarded research support of up to $3,500. Please consult the Mapping Indigenous Worlds Research Grant Proposal Template for additional details.
- Visitors & Events: Individuals or groups are welcome to apply for funding to host visitors or events that will advance the Mapping Indigenous World Lab's central themes (please see the Lab Proposal for details). Successful proposals will receive support of up to $1,500, with the possibility of additional funding to host international visitors. Please consult the Mapping Indigenous Worlds Visitors & Events Grant Proposal Template for additional details.
Proposals for each category will be reviewed as received but must be submitted by the end of the term prior to the term in which proposed activities will be initiated (Fall – December 5th and Spring – May 5th) and at least 30 days prior to the proposed initiation. We will consider exceptions relative to activities proposed for the Fall 2019 term.
