Prof. Personick has been selected as a Scialog Fellow for the 2024 Scialog: Sustainable Minerals, Metals, and Materials meeting. Scialog brings together researchers from a broad range of fields to build multidisciplinary collaborations focused on high-risk research to address key challenges.
The three-year Scialog initiative on Sustainable Minerals, Metals, and Materials seeks to "spark advances in the mining, design, manufacture, and disposal of materials needed to achieve a more sustainable and low-carbon energy system." The initiative is co-sponsored by Research Corporation for Science Advancement and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, with additional support from the Kavli Foundation.
