Ty Williams

Ty is a third-year undergraduate from Colton, CA pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. Ty has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since the spring 2025 semester and is interested in studying adolescent development and mental health psychology. In the surrounding Charlottesville and Ablemarle community, she helps tutor kindergarteners and 1st graders. In her spare time, Ty enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Upon graduation, Ty is planning to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology and starting a mental health clinic in an underserved community to achieve her goal of providing mental health support to young adults and people from underrepresented communities. She also plans to start a small business, "Treats by Ty", inspired by her love for baking.
