Olivia is a fourth year undergraduate from Williamsburg, VA pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. She has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since the summer of 2019 and has facilitated for our Hoos Connected program since the fall of 2019. In addition to working in our lab, Olivia is the Historian for the UVA Psych Society and works as an after school teacher's aide at a local elementary school. Olivia is interested in researching the longterm effects of trauma, psychopathology, and resiliency in childhood; she plans to explore these interests through the Distinguished Majors Program with Dr. Allen as her thesis advisor. After graduation, Olivia plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with the hopes of serving as a clinician for youth. When she's not studying or working, Olivia enjoys painting and cooking with her friends.
