Lauren Breeden

Undergraduate Research Assistant


Lauren is a third-year undergraduate from Luray, Virginia pursuing a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since the spring 2022 semester and is interested in studying potential common causes and symptoms/outcomes of various anxiety and mood-related disorders in adolescence and adulthood and ways to help "remedy" them. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and staying active. She is involved in Food Assist at UVA, NAMI at UVA, as well as the Clean Water Working Group. Upon graduation, Lauren plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on anxiety and mood-related disorders.
