Ariana is a third year graduate student in Clinical Psychology working with Dr. Noelle Hurd's PHAD Lab as well as the Adolescence Research Group. Originally from Conway, South Carolina, Ariana received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2018. Ariana studies positive youth development and has a particular interest in the processes of risk and resilience among marginalized youth and the creation of positive institutional climates within colleges and universities. In her spare time, Ariana enjoys reading, playing the Sims, and spending time with her lovely black cat, Lizzy.
