Laura Handy

Laura is a third-year undergraduate from the Eastern Shore of VA, pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. Laura has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since summer 2026 and is interested in studying the factors contributing to the development of resiliency. Specifically, what factors may cause resiliency to form or hinder the development of resiliency. In her free time, Laura enjoys baking and cooking, as well as metal working and crochet. She also has a French Bulldog back at home named Biscuit! Upon graduation, Laura plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology, continue research, and potentially teach or provide therapy in the future.
