Erin Young

Erin will be the Program Coordinator for Hoos Connected at UVA starting summer 2024 and has worked with the lab since spring 2024. Originally from Charlottesville, VA, she received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies from the University of Virginia in 2023. Erin's research interests include working with adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, as well as understanding further how young people's mental health and connectedness are impacted by social media. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in the future. In her spare time, Erin loves to explore new reading nooks and cafes around town!
