Caroline Flood

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Caroline is a second-year undergraduate from Reston, VA pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. Caroline has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since the fall 2025 semester and is interested in studying childhood development with regards to risk and protective factors. Specifically, how protective factors (like community/school programs) can mitigate detrimental impacts of childhood trauma and instability. In her free time, Caroline enjoys spending time with her parents and two older brothers. She loves the arts and music, especially live music and concerts, and she is in an acapella group at UVA (New Dominions). Caroline and her roommates spend a lot of time with their cute kitten, Joe Beans! Upon graduation, Caroline would like to explore the clinical psychology field or pursue mental health policy.
