Abigail is a fourth-year undergraduate from Alexandria, VA pursuing a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience. Abigail has served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group since the fall 2025 semester and is interested in studying health psychology with a particular interest in what external events can contribute to psychiatric outcomes. Specifically, how stressful events contribute to health disorder emergence (such as diabetes, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PCOS, etc.) and the interaction between acute and chronic stress and psychiatric outcomes, moderated by one's interoceptive awareness and beliefs. In her free time, Abigail enjoys listening to music, going on long, contemplative walks, and spending time with her three younger siblings. She is also actively involved in a Human Rights organization on Grounds, Humanitas Undergraduate Journal of Human Rights! Upon graduation, Abigail's goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist working within the field of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine.
