Bruker Kappa APEXII Duo

This four-circle instrument is equipped with both Mo (sealed tube, λ = 0.71 Å) and Cu (micro-focus, λ = 1.54 Å) X-ray sources, and has an APEXII detector. The Oxford Cryostream 700 allows for data collection at any temperature between 80-400 K (100 K is the default temperature for most of our small molecule work). The instrument is controlled by APEX 3 software, running on a two-computer server/client set-up.

Bruker D8 Ventures

Each of our two D8Venture four-circle diffractometers is equipped with two Incoatec IμS 3.0 microfocus X-ray sources (Mo λ = 0.71 Å; Cu λ = 1.54 Å), and a Photon III detector. Most of our data collections are done at 100 K, but we can vary the temperature from 80 - 400 or 500 K using an Oxford Cryostream 800 or 800Plus.  The APEX4 software suite is used for data collection and reduction.
