“Rita Dove for World Poetry Day 2021.” In recognition of World Poetry Day, the Fulbright Program is celebrating the power of words with a panel led by Fulbright-National Geographic Storyteller alumna and spoken word artist Alyea Pierce. In addition to the panel, the Fulbright program featured readings of original works by accomplished poets and Fulbright alumni, including this special reading performed by Rita Dove.
