Manuel is a student in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. His research explores literary representations of the connection between humans and other-than-human beings. He is interested in the ways in which Caribbean and Latinx cuir authors form networks of care which seek to imagine alternate cuir Caribbean ecological futures.
