Acknowledgements

VTSSS would like to thank all of the volunteers that have so generously given their time and energy to this program over the past 3 decades.

As the majority of the streams sampled are located in Shenandoah National Park and George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, we would like to thank the federal land managers who have supported the VTSSS program throughout its history.

We also acknowledge those foundations, conservation organizations, federal and state agencies and individuals that have provided support through scientific collaboration, funding, logistical assistance, and contribution of time.

A special thanks to Rick Webb, VTSSS founder, retired SWAS-VTSSS Projects Coordinator, VTSSS Sampling Coordinator (1987, 2000, 2010, 2021), stream sampler, and all around nice guy.
