The Women’s Center

The Women’s Center offers a handful of volunteer programs including pairing UVA students as mentors to young women in the Charlottesville community. Additionally, the center provides counseling and a semi-monthly free legal clinic.

Gym Access

Graduate students get free access during semesters to UVA’s four gyms, which include two pools and a bouldering wall.

Intramural Sports

Graduate students can play basketball, floor hockey, soccer, and more on UVA intramural sports teams.

Contemplative Sciences Center

Offers instruction in yoga, meditation, and T’ai Chi. Many of these classes are free to the public!

Counselling & Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS provides outreach and prevention services in addition to clinical services for the improvement of students, faculty, and staff well-being.

Mary D. Ainsworth Psychological Clinic

The Mary D. Ainsworth Psychological Clinic is a facility sponsored by the Department of Psychology's Clinical Training Program. The Clinic is staffed by clinical faculty members and supervised graduate student therapists, while providing confidential psychological services at no charge.

Graduate Student Financial Wellness

A seminar series to help graduate students develop healthy financial habits.
