Jessica Kilmer
Jessica (Jess) Kilmer is a past Research Assistant and current Research Affiliate of the Environmental Neuropsychology Lab at UVA. She is a current Clinical Science Doctoral Student in the Mental State Processing & Psychopathology (MSP) Lab at Virginia Tech. Jess is interested in the interplay of the physical environment with brain health and psychopathology, specifically impacts on cognition and social relationships.
Jess received her BS in psychology from James Madison University. For 2 years, she studied social memory in rodent models of social dysfunction at the UVA Center for Brain Immunology & Glia and worked clinically with adults with serious mental illness. In her free time she enjoys hiking, drawing, and spending time with her fiancé & 2 cats.
