Bella is a first-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student in the Environmental Neuropsychology Lab mentored by Dr. Aaron Reuben, with support from a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. She is interested in neurodevelopment, environmental determinants of mental health, gene–environment interactions, and early-life predictors of mental health outcomes across the lifespan. Bella received her B.A. in Psychology and Public Policy from Duke University and then completed a two-year postbaccalaureate research fellowship in the Section on Developmental Neurogenomics at the National Institute of Mental Health. Bella enjoys all things outdoors—hiking, running, climbing, swimming, picnicking—and is having fun exploring Charlottesville.
