Dawson Reed

Dawson grew up in Churchville, Maryland and received his B.S in Chemistry from the University of Maryland College Park in 2024, doing undergraduate research on the various applications of silver nanowires. His current research interests at the University of Virginia include the properties of plasmonic nanomaterials and their applications in plasmonic catalysis and photochemistry. Outside of research, Dawson enjoys cycling, video games, and playing trumpet.
