Road Trip Press is a pop-up project, driven by a love for books and authors, and a commitment to attentive editing.
This project is made possible by the University of Virginia Libraries and The JeffersonTrust, an initiative of the U.Va. Alumni Association—and it all starts with a particular mission: to find and devote everything we've got to publishing one. single. book.
On the Creative Side
We work to support our author and develop her book in both a trade paper and artists' edition formats. We're having a blast seeing this book take shape on the page and in our hands, and we're excited to share the finished books with you!
On the Research Side
We draw on and test editorial theory in praxis, we engage with other scholar-editors, and we document the editorial and publishing process through our case study for the larger editorial and scholarly community. You can follow some of this work in fairly real-time through our social media and website. In what is necessarily a slower process, we'll post our presentations and publications as they are finalized.
