Christy began this new position in December 2018, having relocated from California in 2017. Previously, she worked as a College Academic Adviser at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her Master’s in Counseling at Saint Mary’s College of California, which greatly informs how she supports students. Before this career, Christy danced professionally in the Bay Area and worked as an arts administrator for AXIS Dance Company, a company of dancers with and without disabilities. She studied dance as an undergraduate at New York University after transferring from the University of Michigan.
