Emma Land

Emma most recently completed her Master of Science in Forest Biology at the University of Georgia in Scott Merkle’s tree tissue culture lab. Her research interests focus on genomic variability of tree species across various spatial and temporal gradients to understand forest dynamics and promote future resilience. Beyond research, she enjoys hiking, birding, playing the banjo, and paying attention to her (perfect) cat, Franny.
