Pablo Ornelas Rosa
Full Professor of the Graduate Programs in Political Sociology and Public Security at Vila Velha University (UVV), the Graduate Program in Science, Technology and Education of the University Center of Vale do Cricaré (UNIVC) and Productivity Fellow of the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Espírito Santo (FAPES).
PhD in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), Master’s degree in Political Sociology and Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with post-doctoral internship in Sociology at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) grant from the German government (University of Heidelberg), in Collective Health and Psychology at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). Currently holds a second PhD in Institutional Psychology at UFES. Leads the CNPq-registered research group "Research Center on Activism, Resistance and Conflict (NUPARC), with experience in social theory, youth, drugs, criminal justice system, human rights, neoliberal rationality and conservatism, gender and sexuality, disinformation and technopolitics.
More than 100 articles, book chapters and essays published in national and international journals, as well as the participation of more than 200 master’s and doctoral students and their qualifications, having also served as coordinator of the Post-Graduation Program in Political Sociology at UVV.
