The TripleSpec spectrographs are a series of spectrographs that were originally designed and fabricated through a collaboration between Cornell University, Caltech, JPL and UVa. These near-infrared cross-dispersed spectrographs provide simultaneous R~3000 spectra from <1.0 -- 2.4 micron. They also feature a separate slit viewing channel. Please see Wilson et al. 2004 for a full description. After the original three copies were made for the Apache Point Observatory 3.5-m (shown above), Palomar 200-inch, and Keck 10-m telescopes, I helped Cornell and NOAO develop a fourth copy for the Blanco 4-m telescope. That fourth copy has recently been modified and moved to the SOAR 4.1-m telescope. Below are the websites for the various copies:
