Positionality/Diversity Statements
Since HSRC 2023, we now ask all presenters to upload a statement of positionality with their proposal. The purpose of this statement is to clearly explain and allow for reflection on your own identities and how they may have influenced your research. Statements of positionality can be lengthy, but to meet the requirements of this proposal, three to five sentences will suffice.
