Do I have to register to attend the conference?

Yes, registration is required.

Who can submit an abstract?

We encourage any and all interested parties to submit an abstract. Faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, community members, research staff, and advocates are just some of the parties who may be interested.

We accept presentations across the arts, social sciences, physical sciences, political sciences, medical sciences, human services, implementation sciences, education, and beyond.

Where can I find information about abstract submissions?

Abstract submission guidelines can be found here.

What is the format for poster presentations?

To ensure high visibility and a cohesive experience for all attendees, we have developed an official conference poster template. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage its use as it has been optimized for screen readability and virtual navigation.

The template currently includes placeholder logos for the Advancing Excellence in Scholarship Research Conference and the University of Virginia. Please replace these with your own lab and institution logos before finalizing your presentation.

Templates can be found here.
