Thomas Mark

I'm a low-dimensional topologist specializing in the topology of smooth and symplectic 4-manifolds, and the smooth and contact topology of 3-manifolds. 

I am currently the chair of the mathematics department here at the University of Virginia. I've been part of the UVa math faculty since 2006.
