Talia Selembo graduated from Wofford College in 2024 with a B.S. in Chemistry and worked as a synthetic chemist before beginning her M.S. in Chemistry at the University of Virginia. In the Venton Lab, she is studying neurotransmitter detection using FSCV, with a focus on developing innovative carbon microelectrodes. Outside of the lab, Talia enjoys traveling, painting, trying new foods, and spending time outside with friends and her rescue dog Rome.
