This kappa-geometry diffractometer is equipped with an APEXII detector and two X-ray sources - Mo (sealed tube, λ = 0.71 Å) and Cu (microfocus, λ = 1.54 Å). It is used primarily for the structural analysis of small molecules. Polycrystalline (powder) diffraction experiments and protein crystallography can also be done on this diffractometer. An Oxford Cryostream 700 low-temperature device allows data collections at any temperature between 80 - 400 K, with most single-crystal samples being collected at 100 K.
