Namrata is a first year graduate student in UVA’s clinical psychology PhD program. She graduated from UCLA in 2024 with majors in Psychology and Sociology and completed UC Irvine’s Post Baccalaureate Program in Psychology in 2025. Namrata aims to study how sociocultural factors inform mental health inequities and how cultural responsivity can be integrated into mental health care for ethnoracially minoritized communities. Outside of research, she enjoys watching movies, crafting (with a pretty robust stationary supply), and visiting the ocean.
