Joon is a postdoctoral research fellow in the PHAD Lab. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan, following her B.A. in Psychology from the Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University and her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research focuses on key developmental periods, such as the transitions into adolescence and adulthood, and how social contexts shape the experiences of adolescents and young adults during these periods. Outside the lab, she enjoys watching movies.
