Undergraduate course

This is an introductory course in psychopathology, or the scientific study of mental disorders. The course provides a broad survey of abnormal behavior, with emphasis on a scientific approach to understanding its origins, maintenance and treatment. The course will not simply present a list of "facts" about different forms of abnormal behavior; rather, students will develop critical thinking skills as applied to theories and treatments relevant for each disorder.
