Bin completed his PhD in 2017.  His dissertation involving developing, testing, and deploying an individual-based model of forest ecology.   He also worked on a novel approach to understanding soil trace-gas fluxes, considering soils as multi-aggregate systems.  He is currently a post-doc with Steve Allison at UC Irvine.
