Water Contaminants
Contaminated water can severely affect the lives of those who drink it. Our investigations seek to measure the effect of contaminants on the lives of those who ingest them, and to establish causation of contaminants on economic outcomes and cognition.
Remediation
We are able to measure the effects of removing contaminants from drinking water while also establishing new solutions. Government or non-government organizations can deploy our developed solutions to provide more people with access to safe drinking water.
Global Implications
Around 260 million people worldwide rely on water with levels of fluoride exceeding the safe limit prescribed by the World Health Organization (WHO, 2000). Our research evaluates the efficacy of new methods for improving the safety of drinking water for those without consistent access.
