Winnie is a Ph.D. student in the Spanish Department. Winnie's research interests include technology and society studies, 20th - 21st Century anglophone, francophone and hispanophone Caribbean, Caribbean speculative and science fiction, Digital humanities scholarship, Digital cultures in the Caribbean and the U.S., and Japanese culture influence on Caribbean science fiction and culture.
