Dr. Richard Bruno, the Carol S. Kennedy Professor of Human Nutrition at Ohio State University, is a registered dietitian and bionutritionist. He also serves as Senior Director of the Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), supporting the development of over 2,600 second-year students through a high-impact signature initiative. Dr. Bruno is internationally recognized for his research on the anti-inflammatory properties of green tea and its bioactive compounds in promoting cardiovascular health. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and delivered several hundred invited presentations across diverse audiences. His translational research, spanning preclinical and clinical studies, continues to shape evidence-based recommendations to support cardiometabolic health.
