The Early American Seminar's regular meetings take place on Tuesday afternoons, approximately every other Tuesday during the academic year, at the Jefferson Library at the Robert H. Smith Center for International Studies. The EAS also sponsors other events, including a couple of seminars per semester on the grounds of the University of Virginia, conducted via videoconference with early Americanists at the University of Edinburgh.
