University of Virginia Summer Language Institute. Offers an intensive Russian Language Program, the equivalent of two years of traditional instruction.
Funding Opportunities:
Harrison Undergraduate Research Awards. Awards of up to $5,000 each will be granted on a competitive basis to current first-, second-, and third-year undergraduate students, in coordination with a faculty mentor. Applicants must be fulltime undergraduates at UVA and must remain enrolled at the University through the completion of their project.
Raven Society Fellowship. Open to all UVA students in support of undergraduate or graduate independent research projects. Special consideration will be given to those pursuing interdisciplinary study.
Small Research and Travel Grants. Awards of up to $1,500 for students in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.000. Open to any student enrolled and matriculating in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Office of Citizen Scholar Development. Regularly organizes information events related to undergraduate research and has a variety of resources.
Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Fellowships and Grants. A variety of funding opportunities offered by the Graduate School.
