UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA'S PRESIDENT REPORT, 1999-2000
Two of Werner K. Sensbach's paintings are reproduced on the covers of the President's Report and the Financial Report. For more than thirty years, Sensbach has found a vital source of creativity and inspiration in the Grounds of the University of Virginia. As director of planning, from 1965-1991, he helped give shape to the University that we see today. As a painter of landscapes, he has dedicated himself to portraying the Academical Village that he knows so intimately.
