Beta release that does a major redesign with a focus on information clarity and cleaning things up so the website is presentable and core functionality is present for BME conference.
This is just a beta version and has not been formally reviewed and approved yet by SIEL labratories. Thus, please forgive any small bugs visual inconsistencies, or incorrect information for the time being. Please feel free to send feedback or bug reports to zacharyend@proton.me
Updates:
- new card css object created to better align with glassmorphic design and improve readability.
- created a contact card for all important lab social media and emails
- added logic to contact card to allow user to start an email by clicking a mail icon in top right or to copy the email address to their keyboard by clicking the contact us button
- added animated pfp of Lab PI to contact us card
- redid design of meet the team button on home screen to be more clean and fit in with home page theme better
- created Latest publication section that uses custom AI agent to summarize the labs latest publication and organize it into a format that reads well on mobile devices
- added new liquid glass button to research page header
- cleaned up organization of research topics to improve read ability on desktop mobile and tablet
- added better tablet support to all pages
- improved colors for better information hierarchy and readability
