Undergraduate Researcher
Samuel is a fourth year undergraduate student with a Biochemistry major. He is an Echols scholar in the College of Arts and Sciences, and he serves as a mentor and advisor to six entering class of first-year and transfer students. His research project in the Venton lab involves developing a selective and sensitive sensor to discriminate between adenosine and ATP. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books, playing soccer, singing, and spending time with his friends.
