Grace Levitt is a first-year graduate student in the Chemistry Department. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in German from Wofford College in 2023. As an undergraduate researcher, she studied the effect of diet on proinflammatory cytokines at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also gained valuable experience in polymer characterization at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research at the University of Mainz. In the lab, Grace is currently working on the fabrication of electrodes for microfluidic applications, with a specific interest in point-of-care devices. Outside school, Grace can often be found attending sporting events, enjoying live music, and browsing local bookstores.
