2021 NSF GRFP Writing Workshop

2021 NSF GRFP Writing Workshop (June – August 2021)

The Department’s Chemical Science Communication (ChemSciComm) program will be holding a virtual workshop series to aid in the preparation of competitive NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program applications.  Any graduate (incoming first-year or rising second-year) or undergraduate (rising 4th years) students in the Chemistry Department who are planning to apply for the fellowship during their time at UVA are welcome, and encouraged, to participate!

Our goal is to create a collaborative peer-editing environment that allows students to ask questions and develop a strong fellowship application. We will first hold an informational meeting that covers the NSF-GRFP application process and its components. In subsequent meetings, we will discuss and edit personal and research statement drafts.
