Clara Funk

Graduate Student

Eastern Shore of Virginia (LTER)

Originally from Berkeley, CA, Clara attended Wesleyan University and received a BA in Biology in 2003. Since then, she's worked in everything from California agricultural pest management to marine physiology to tropical forestry. She joins us now after 3 years as a research assistant at the Ecosystems Center at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. Clara's work employs new trace gas technology to measure nitrous oxide production resulting from agricultural run-off to a marsh ecosystem.
