This is a seminar for first-year students designed to introduce how scientists across the natural and social sciences learn about the world through discipline-specific logics, inductive, and deductive reasoning. In this class, we explore how biologists, economists, sociologists, psychologists, political scientists, and scholars who study science and technology all have something to contribute to our understanding of why societies across the world are producing many fewer babies than they used to.
