Alejandra Vega González (BS) graduated in May 2025 with an MS in Environmental Sciences working on records of ice rafted debris around Antarctica. Her work utilized archived marine sediment cores and the use of methods such as CT scans to assess and map sedimentary structures. She worked as a research intern for the COLDEX project prior to starting at UVA and during the summers. Alejandra joined the US Air Force upon graduation.
