Rajaah Alagib

2019 Summer Research Assistant

Rajaah’s academic interests lie mostly in equitable access to education across race and space. As an incoming first year, her professional ambitions are not yet set in stone but she takes an interest in public policy and its role in shaping society. Rajaah challenges herself to focus on constructing solidarities within, without, and between communities. She has a passion for mentoring and paying forward the generational debt of knowledge. If she could time travel to any historical time period, Rajaah would live in 13th century Baghdad, a city with an approach to all around human wellness grounded in the sciences. This summer, Rajaah will be working on the Julian Bond Papers which are housed in the Albert & Shirley Small Special Collections Library.
