Maggie is a rising fourth year student in the Engineering School majoring in Aerospace Engineering. She will spend the summer working on the Notes on the State and Julian Bond Papers project. Although her chosen field of study does not always allow for conversations pertaining to the intersections of race, history, and social justice to arise, Maggie takes the initiative to investigate these topics on her own by taking elective classes like Black Women Make Movies with Professor Nzingha Kendall and participating in community activism. Of all the time periods she could live in, Maggie would travel back to the Neolithic Era and learn how to do everything for the first time as an early human.
