2019 Summer Research Assistant
Josh is a rising fourth year studying African & African American Studies and Anthropology. He is a firm believer in the philosophy that one cannot understand where they are going if they do not know where they come from. This compels him to ask critical questions and engage in difficult conversation topics that often emerge when discussing race and inequality. The question “If not me, who will?” inspires him to push the boundaries of respectability and commit to mentoring younger generations to grow academically, mentally, and spiritually. Josh will be working collaboratively with a group of other interns on the Notes on the State podcast.
