Graduate Student
Chen Chen is a psychology graduate student and recipient of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship in Quantitative Neurobiology of Behavior. She received her B.S. in biotechnology at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Her interests include visual coding in the brain and neural mechanisms underpinning visually guided natural behaviors. She particularly focuses on how visual information and cues are assembled together and interpreted by the superior colliculus to support visuomotor transformation and behavioral outputs. Chen enjoys reading and walking in the beautiful view of Charlottesville during the spare time.
